The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship is accepting applications for the academic year 2025. The Ireland Government Scholarships are open in all fields. This funded scholarship for international students seeks individuals with excellent potential to become future research leaders. Regardless of age and nationality, anyone is eligible to apply for a Masters or PhD programme. The value of the scholarship will be up to a maximum of €31,000 per annum in any approved year and will consist of the following:

eligible direct research expenses of €3,250 per annum. Eligible Universities for the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme:

a stipend of €22,000 per annum;

a contribution to fees, including non-EU fees, up to a maximum of €5,750 per annum; and
