The Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Helsinki invites applications for the position of a Doctoral Researcher in Sustainable lake restoration. The Doctoral researcher will be appointed for a fixed-term 3-year contract (Start date: January 1, 2025) to work in a multidisciplinary project entitled “Opportunities for the sustainable lake restoration by sediment removal and sediment reuse as phosphorus fertilizer”. The Doctoral project is a part of EU funded project Fostering European Lakes Restoration by Nutrient Removal, Recovery, and Reuse: Integrated Catchment and In-lake Scale Approach (FERRO). The position will be supervised by Dr Olga Tammeorg (Aquatic Sciences) and Dr Priit Tammeorg (Crop Science).
