Job: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Theriogenology

The salary range for this position is $174,500 to $325,000. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay, i.e., a salary higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: A PhD and/or DVM degree with advanced research training in reproductive biology is required. A documented record of creative scholarship or potential to develop a research program in reproductive biology is required. Demonstrated aptitude and experience in teaching are required. Preferred qualifications include comparative and small animal reproduction and/or endocrinology expertise. Board certification in or completion of a residency (or equivalent) approved by the American College of Theriogenologists (ACT), the European College of Animal Reproduction (ECAR), or the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) – Animal Reproduction is also preferred. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere that aligns with the Principles of Community and faculty governance at the University of California, Davis.
