The Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin (MPIMG) is an international research institute with approx. 350 employees dedicated to functional genomics, with a focus on gene regulation and epigenomic control mechanisms in mammalian development and disease.

The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) is Germany’s center of excellence for digital engineering. The Digital Engineering Faculty, founded jointly by the University of Potsdam and HPI, offers a highly practical and engineering-oriented computer science study program, focusing on IT, digital engineering, and computer science.

The Research Groups of Dr. Aydan Bulut-Karslioglu and Dr. Helene Kretzmer invite applications for the following open position available from September 1st, 2025: Joint PhD Student (f/m/d) in Computational Genomics (65 % E13 according to the TVöD salary scale).
