Summary
Student Assistant | Analyzing protein structure and using Atomic Force Microscopy @ The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics
Deadline: 17-May-2025
The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics is a leading international research institute that uses biophysical, biochemical and computational methods to investigate the structure, dynamics and function of cellular systems at the molecular scale. It consists of four scientific departments, multiple research groups and scientific core facilities, with about 250 employees and guests from more than 40 countries. They are looking for an a Student Assistant (f/m/d) to analyzing protein structure using Atomic Force Microscopy.
The Department of Membrane Dynamics aims to uncover the fundamental physical principles and molecular mechanisms that control membrane organization and behavior. Our project focuses on analyzing how proteins assemble on membranes using Atomic Force Microscopy. With high-resolution, fast-scan Atomic Force Microscopy, they will directly visualize the structure and dynamics of protein complexes on membranes in real time.
